How is everyone! Ahhh I finally have some time off from work! YES!!!! I am off until 2pm on Thursday when I have to meet with my regional manager at the airport for a few hours. I was supposed to be off the entire day - boo

Looks a little dreary outside in Richmond today - and only 67 degrees. I can deal with the 67 degrees.. that's a nice change from the 90's with 100% humidity we have been having but some sun would be nice

Any barbeques getting fired up today? Maybe if I had one I would fire it up

So on that note, here is your poll topic...

While I pretty much love everything cooked on a BBQ.
There is nothing like COrn on the Cob!! It is so ggos and so easy. All you have to do do is put the corn ( with the husk on ) On the BBQ and turn it every few minutes and leave it on there for about 15 -20 minutes and then of course Slobber it with Butter and your all set!!

What doesn't taste better when made on the grill?
I voted for burgers as they are my favorite...but any on the above list will do.
We are actually having a BBQ today with my family...can't wait to have the grub!

EVERYTHING tastes better cooked outside. I'm a chicken fan, so that's what I voted for (dark meat,thank you very much) but I especially love grilled pineapple!

Hamburgers and cheese burgers. I like mine very well done, so it's pretty much a crispy critter by the time I get it. DS would say hot dogs. LOL!

I voted steak, but I won't eat steak, burgers, or hotdogs unless they are cooked on the grill. Was there an option for everything? I'll have to recheck, if that's there, that's what I should have voted!

I love fish on the grill. We had grilled salmon on Friday, my favorite. Today, we're doing chicken and veggie burgers.

I voted for steak, since I have a hard time eating it any other way at home, whereas the other stuff I can do if necessary.

Midwest Living did an article in the latest issue about women and grilling that was really interesting. One of the recipes was a grilled banana split that sounded really good (the bananas are the grilled part, the rest probably wouldn't grill too well )

Ya think??? LOL I had to laugh when I read that!

I might just have to try grilling a banana though, because I LOVE banana splits!

Yep, I was the bride - thank you!! We celebrated our first anniversary a few weeks ago... my how time flies!

I was telling my mom (Patabel) about the grilled banana split recipe, and she reminded me about a dish that we used to make all the time in Girl Scouts - banana boats. You'd peel off the top part of the banana, scoop a little bit out, then fill it up with chocolate chips and marshmellows. Then you'd put the top part of the peel back on, wrap the whole thing in tin foil and put it on the grill/fire. Yum!!
