Good morning everyone! Hope everyone is ready to have a wonderful monday morning! Okay, stop throwing tomatoes at me, I'm not really a monday person either :teeth:

Anyway, today's question came to me when I thought this morning "Oh cool, it's 24 night!" Then I realized that the majority of the TV shows I watch are on only 1 or 2 networks.

So your question today is - which of the major "non pay" networks do you watch the most (cable and satellite networks not included)

Poll's a comin'!

Okay, poll is up! For kicks, post your favorite shows on your favorite station so we can see what everyone likes :)

If we are talking Monday TV, then it would be NBC...but then Tuesday and Wednesday goes to FOX (AI)!

Lets see

Monday = FOX Gotta watch Jack AKA 24
Tues = CBS The Unit and amazing race ( any 24 fans out there give the unit a try David Palmer is one main character well the actor who played him)
Wed= ABC Lost
Thurs back to CBS Survivor and CSI
Fri= CBS Ghostwhisperer
Sat ??? really depends

Sun= ABC for Desperate housewives and WB for Charmed

so I guess CBS looks like the winner

why do i pay so much for cable when i normally watch regular tv??? :confused3

ABC. One of the few shows that I watch is Extreme Makeover Home Edition. I also watch ABC for my local news (everything else is dedicated to Boston)

I didn't vote because I watch CBS and NBC equally. :)

Aside from the times when the Weather Channel is the best thing that's on :teeth: we often watch the SciFi channel, Comedy Central, ESPN, the History Channel, TCM, and Headline News. As long as Nancy Grace isn't on - that woman irritates me! :confused3

Swell. My own wife did the poll and I can't think of the answer off the top of my head. :p I'll have to break it down like Kayla did.

My "must see TV" --

Monday: Prison Break and 24 on Fox
Tuesday: American Idol and House on Fox, Amazing Race on CBS
Wednesday: Bones on Fox, Lost on ABC, and tape the AI results show
Thursday: Survivor and CSI on CBS
Friday: don't really have anything, aside from Avatar on Nickelodeon :p That's when we'll usually catch up on something missed during the week.
Saturday: I don't think there's anything for this night. We usually have the TV on Nickelodeon or watch something taped earlier in the week or a DVD.
Sunday: Extreme Home Makeover, Desperate Housewives, and Gray's Anatomy on ABC, and also watch some of the celebreality shows on VH1.

Looks like it's Fox. And yes, Lauri and I have realized that there isn't anything we watch on NBC, but no, we don't have any explanation for it. :confused3

Hmm, I really don't know. I think it's a toss up between ABC and CBS. The VAST majority of the time, I watch cable. Let's see...

Monday: Deal or No Deal -- NBC
Tuesday: Amazing Race (sometimes) - CBS
Wednesday: LOST -- ABC
Thursday: Survivor -- CBS
Friday: Numb3rs (sometimes) -- CBS
Sat: Cartoons -- WB
Sun: Nothin'

Looks like CBS for me.

Mostly, though, I watch Cartoon Network, Food Network, Toon Disney, History Channel, National Geographic, TLC, and Travel.

Yay! MeanLaureen's useless polls are back! Woot woot!

And just for the record, TV really stinks.

Figures.. my husband answers yet another one of my questions with a form of "I don't know" in the beginning. :rotfl2:

"Matt? What do you want for dinner" - "I don't know"?
"Matt? What would you like to do today?" - "I'm not sure"
"Matt? Do you work tomorrow?" - "Ummmmidonno"
"Matt? What would you like for your birthday?" - "uhhh I can't think of anything right now"

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

I only watch three shows. House & Jack (24) are both on Fox. I love Jack.

Monk is on USA.

If you insist on an answer, does he make one up to just make you stop asking?

"What do you want to do tomorrow?" - "I don't know."
"I always pick. You need to pick. Anything!" - "Go to Alaska."

I guess Fox because I watch Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad and occasionally King of the Hill. I watch SNL on NBC, and that's all the 'network TV' that I watch.

We watch a lot more cable tv.

Well I picked Fox for AI and, yes I admit, America's Most Wanted. :p

But, I also tape All My Children every day which is on ABC. But of course that's daytime tv. :sunny:
