Anybody see this movie? My 14 year old niece wants me to take her to see it, but I'm just not too sure it would be cool for my 5 & 8 year old girls.
(They'll sit through any movie, I'm just wondering if there's a lot of "bad" stuff in it I should worry about.)!
What do you think?

Humm,

We own the movie and its cute, it does teach a good lesson but there are definate references to gay/lesbian/sexual subject plus some bad language.

I wasn't that impressed with the movie at all, JC just liked it because Lindsey Lohan was in it. It does teach a good lesson that would be appreciated by the 14 year old but I don't think the 2 younger ones would get it.

It's not out on dvd/video yet, is it ? I wanted to see it but haven't made it to the theater yet.

It's fine...if they don't get it. I just hate sitting in a movie with something that I wish they weren't seeing HUGE in front of them! I'm pretty easy about stuff like that anyways I guess. Someone had said that it was REALLY not appropriate for kids.
But it IS only PG-13
:smooth:

I haven't seen it, but I usually check out
www.pluggedinonline.com
when I want info about a movie. The website is part of "Focus on the Family". It'll break down everything into categories, giving spoilers if they feel the info is necessary to pass on to parents. It's got some good information.

Yep I know its not available yet, my husband and son bought in in Las Vegas along with Day After Tomorrow and also The Girl Next Door, they are obviously boot leg copies but DH and DS didn't know that when they bought them....LOL!

Its definatly not the ""Disney"" Lindsey Lohan.

It's not appropriate for 5 and 8yr olds.

took my 8 yr old daughter to it and it was fine~ few things went over her head but for the most part it doesnt bother me to explain things to her. She liked the movie and it did send a good message.

No to the 5 and 8 year old girls. We had free screening passes, I took my 10 year old DD and her friend and two older DS's. There was a LOT Of swearing and the B word. We discussed it afterwards. I didn't get a chance to check it out on Screenit.com because we saw it the day before it was released. Otherwise we would not have gone.
