My husband and I were trying to plan out how much money we need to take with us. Does Make A Wish pay for any of the meals? We are planning to eat breakfast at Give Kids the World.

Meals at GKTW are free.

You'll get a cheque for expenses which will include things like meals at WDW (or elsewhere outside of GKTW), the amount of this cheque differs (sometimes greatly) depending on your chapter and, in my experience, even within a chapter. This is something that your wish granters should be able to tell you, or at least a ball park. Some people have had a specific special meal covered (e.g. CRT), while others have not.

All the meals and snacks you eat at Give Kids the World are provided free of charge. Some people eat breakfast and a late supper at Give Kids the World, which leaves only lunch to purchase at the parks.

As far as I know, the amount of spending money provided by different chapters of Make a Wish vary. A lot of people who have been on are or are planning Wish trips, hang out on this thread and would be able to give you good ideas.
