Meals to long or too short?

Some threads say their meal was rushed (apps with entree, or taking away food before finished at buffets, etc).

Some threads say to be forewarned that meals can take forever, like even two hours!

We are going to try to slow down a little for our meals on this trip, but generally speaking (hate to admit it) - we are people who usually eat and run, especially DH.

Free dining is going to have us already eating more food than we usually do, so we do realize it is ok for meals to take a little longer.

(Part 1 question) Just wondering if you guys think your (dining plan) meals are too long or too short (or just right!) :lmao: Or does it depend on where the meals are?

(Part 2 question) - If I have a 7:50 PM ADR at LeCellier, can I possibly make Illuminations at 9PM? (would you tell that to your server? I guess I can't imagine telling them to hurry it along!) - We thought about skipping dessert here to get out in time.

TIA Dis!

I would hazard a guess of no...

Due to the popularity of Le Cellier, it is not rare for them to be running behind with the ADRs. Remember, an ADR is not an actual reservation for that specific time, it will only get you the next available table for your party size (after all those with ADRs at earlier times get THEIR tables...).

Add to that, but when I ate there in May, the meal took about an hour... but we ate earlier (5:30 or so I think) so there wasn't much of a back up.
