Hi heard from somewhere that there was a Mickey Mouse Surf's Up?? but can't seem to see it on Disneyland site. Has anyone been? I am travelling with my son who is 6 and that's who he really wants to see. Are the meals worth it??

I've never done that meal so I can't say if it's worth it but just wanted to say that you can also meet Mickey at his house in ToonTown. The wait isn't usually too bad and it's very well organized so everyone gets their turn.

Surf's Up is just breakfast.

You can find Mickey in his house in ToonTown for the majority of the day. Also, he's very easy to find off of Main Street and in the entrance of DCA by the waterfall/sun in the center. I don't think you'll have any issue at all finding him.

As to the meals being worth it.. really a matter of opinion. IMO they are not, but we're not big eaters. I hate to spend $40 a meal when we're eating more like $6 worth. :rotfl: I know I can usually find most characters outside of the meals, so I'd rather save my $$ and buy my kids an extra souvenir, take them to a movie in DTD or eat somewhere nice like Blue Bayou. But that's JMO.

The Surf's Up breakfast is in the Paradise Pier Hotel and just started in December, so it may not be showing up online everywhere yet. I've heard it's Mickey, Stitch, and friends. I know DS5 would love to do this meal.

Search this board; several DISers have gone and can give reviews. I think you could do this as a late brunch but you'd have to call Disney Dining to see what the latest reservation would be.

Typical breakfast food... I believe most of the character meals at PPH that we have been to have the best character interaction. Since this hotel is out of the way, doesn't seem to get much traffic, so generally you don't have the crowds that you do at the other locations.

We saw... Mickey (main greeter and picture for purchase with him) and then Minnie, Daisy, Stitch, Donald, Goofy and Pluto. Minnie, Stitch and Goofy came to our table 2 or 3 times, because it was so quiet in their.

We generally go on our last day and fuel up before the drive home. Smoothies, Omelets, baked goods, Waffles, Eggs, Meats, Salmon and Capers, some white fish. Cereals, Oatmeal, fresh fruit, etc

I just made a PS for Surf's Up bfast and was told that although you could eat until later the characters left at 11:30. So I chose 10am.
