Can anyone tell me if the meal vouchers offered on Ebay are legit?

I'm assuming they were vouchers sold as part of a vacation package. Has anyone ever bought or used these?

There are three types of vouchers:

Breakfast: good for any sitfown breakfast including the character meals(not Swan/Dolphin) and these are 17.50

quick&casual: these are good for almost all the counter service restaurants at the parks(except some carts) and many of the food courts in resorts. Good for one entree, side, drink, dessert for 11.25

Kingdom luncheon: good for sitdown restaurants in parks/resorts but only for lunch. They are 27.75 or so.

We have used the breakfast and q&c and love them. Nice to have some meals pre-paid. CM know about them and you don't have any problems using them. They also include tax and gratuity so they are good deal in that respect.

We are connections members (yearly membership was $79.00)and have always had great service from them; although others have had issues. If you join for a trial $1/one month, make sure you cancel on time or they will charge you for the year. You can buy up to 40 of each kind of voucher per year. Others told me that they will be increasing the yearly fee significantly and if they do, I may not rejoin. They also have great discounts on park passes at IOA, US and WDW along with Blockbuster, TOYRUS and other restaurants so we have gotten our $79! Hope this helps.

We have seen people selling these vouchers for WAY over value at e-bay..I don't recommend that. IMHO

llbreaze,
They probably are legit--though if they are the vouchers from Connections, they aren't supposed to be resold. The other problem is folks bid them up too high to the point where I don't see how a bidder could even break even on their costs.

I have purchased vouchers as follows:
Adult breakfast $17.75. When we have actually used the vouchers, the most money we saved per voucher was right around $5.00..... (and sometimes we were pretty close to breaking even)....

The Adult VKL vouchers cost $30.50--they are only good while lunch is served. I think we saved anywhere from $5-15.00 but DH didn't like eating a big meal at lunch.... .

The Q & C vouchers are good for lunch or dinner at mostly counter service restaurants (with a couple of exceptions) cost $11.25. If you use them at Beaches and Cream, you can realize a pretty good savings. I haven't tried them at the Pepper Market or The Maura, but I have heard folks got a good value using them there. Otherwise, at the Theme Parks and Resort hotels that we used them at, we may have saved a few pennies up to about $4.00 per voucher.

They talk a lot about the Connections vouchers over on the budget board.

Im sure most of the ones are e-bay are legit but people bid way to much for them. If you are paying more than the price Connections charges then you arent really saving any money. Then on top of the you normally have to pay for shipping also on your auctions.
We are members of Simple Escapes (like Connections) and we have really gotten our money's worth out of it. We buy some Q&C and breakfast ones for vacation. We also buy the retail cards for $25 (you get $5 credit back per $25 card) and for the $10 resturant cards you get $20 back. We have saved quite a bit.
