You are better off buying the vouchers through Connections. You can try them out and quit if it's not going to be worth it to you, for 30 days for $1. While a few have had problems with them, most have not. I have been a member twice and had no problems. Use a credit card instead of a debit card to reduce the possibility of problems.

On eBay, the price for some reason goes way beyond what they are usually worth. I love them, and we do well with them, but unless you have a car and plan on eating out with the Q & C vouchers at Peppermill or Beaches (the biggest savings), they save you some if you buy direct, but usually nothing if you buy from eBay's inflated prices. The lunch voucher also save you some (mostly at Rain Forest, AK only), but if you usually don't spend that much on a lunch, it's not a savings. Most of hte ones on eBay tell about Beaches Kitchen sink (see it in my signature)..but the new Q & C exclude it, and personally I think it's just a mess of ice cream and toppings.

Well... over preparing - as I tend to do.. I bought 16 off eBay last year and I got a great deal - it worked out to only 7.50 each... the lady who sold them had cancelled her trip last minute and just wanted rid of them...

However... at Disney - I ended up only using 2 of them!

Reasons for this are 1st - I am an idiot and kept forgetting to take them to the parks with me.

2nd - we were staying in concierge and we kept snacking in the lounge and we just were not hungry enough for an entre, drink, side dish and dessert all in one sitting.

The first one we used at the food court in AKL.. we ordered the Personall Tandoori Chicken pizza for 6.99, casear salad 5.49, drink 2.00 and carrot cake 4.49... total was about 21.00 and used my 1st voucher...

Cashier looked at me and said.. caesar salad does not count as a side.. you should get fries... I said - "I don't think so."... we had a little mexican standoff and then she shrugged and put it through.

The 2nd voucher we used was at MK at the future world area .. we ordered a large chicken fingers and fries 6.99, cole slaw, 2.00, drink and brownie dessert... it was about 18.00 with tax...

Again this cashier tried to tell me that my fries (which came with the fingers) were my side... and I said "I don't think so" and then she put it through too.. sheesh... I felt like these people thought I was really cheap or something.

The voucers are readily accepted through the parks and resorts as listed... there are some "grey" areas about the side dish issue - to my experience. I also notice that the vouchers boast "gratuities" are included.. but you don't tip for counter service anyway so that is hogwash.

When I came back I had 14 vouchers left which I sold on eBay and made a killing on... I didn't feel guilty about this because I split them between 2 auctions... started them at a penny with no reserve and free shipping... but still, people got silly about bidding and ended up paying 16.00+ each..

Personally I would not use them again.. too much of a hassle - and the savings are not that great - unless you get an incredible deal like I lucked out on...

Also.... it is just so much food to eat at one time with the side and dessert... unless you are sharing - it is a lot of food for one.

We are connections members and just bought 14 new ones that expire 5/2004 for our trips in June and Dec. We have always had great service from connections; ordered them on Friday online and got them mon via ups. q&c are convenient , but not always cost effective..depends where you use them. If you can get them on e-bay for less than cost price of 11.25..go for it, but I have seen people spend way over that and that's wasted money!

FYI The fries do count as the side dish. Also, the food court at Coranado Springs does charge a gratuity.
