Meal timings help please!

Hello!
Would really appreciate some help with booking my meals as we leave in just over 2 weeks..so excited!! We are going to get half board vouchers too and plan on one meal out a day as we are driving so taking lunch supplies!

My meal plans are as follows...

Sunday: Plaza Gardens pm
Monday: Cowboy Cookout lunch
Tuesday: Annettes Diner pm
Wednesday: Cafe Mickey pm
Thursday: Rainforest Cafe pm
Friday: Crocketts tavern pm
Saturday: ?

My questions are..

1. On our first day we will arrive around 1pm. This is the last day of the summer season so would ideally like to see Tarzan show, Fantulusion and the fireworks..does anyone know the times of these? What would be the best time to eat to avoid missing anything?

2. Cowboy Cookout is 11am-3pm, when wuld be the best time to eat? I assume early is best as get longer with the characters?

3. What time do the characters come out at cafe mickey in the evening?

4. Ideally we would like to eat early, around 5.30pm, at the other places, is everywhere open at this time? Would be better to eat in the evening I suppose after closing but will be too late for the kids. Does anyone know what time the parades/shows etc. are so we can avoid these times? The park closes around 7pm while we are there.

1 - If it stays the same as the program atm and I don't see why it should change, Tarzan is on at 12.00-13.00-14.00-16.15-17.15

Fantallusion starts about 22.20 and the fireworks after that around 23.00

You have the show times here and the new ones should be up tomorrow for next week

2 - The characters come out more or less all the time, they rotate them so there isn't afaik a better time to see them but I've not yet eaten over there so will leave that one to the experts

3 - Again I'll leave that one to the experts but I'd go for from 6ish on

4 - Annettes and RFC are open non stop so you would have no pbs going at a time you like. There are far less people before the park closes than after it and seeing that you can't reserve either of them take that into account. After park closing the queues can be very long

There's a Beaver Creek Tavern in the SL and that opens from 6.30 -11.00 pmis that the one you mean

And starting from the Monday 5th the OUAD parade will be back to around 5.00 pm

Can I ask why you are getting the vouchers? They dont really save much at all now and often people find it easier now to just budget so much per day.
You cant use them in Rainforest cafe and Im not sure about Cowboy Cookout either - Its counter service and you could never use them there in the past but now its a character meal it may have changed im not sure.

As Carrie said the characters are in Cafe Mickey from 6pm

You would also need to check what time Plaza Gardens closes as not all the restaurants inside the park are open in the evening

Hiya I'm going on the same day as you I think we get there around 1.30, are you going by eurostar???
Im hoping to catch the tarzan show aswel and it sounds really good.
We've booked the cowboy cookout for lunch on the monday, just before 12 so can get sorted before the characters get there and have plenty of time to see them - very excited.
Think the sunday is gonna be a very hectic day, as up early to get to ashford, get to the park lunch time, see tarzan hopefully, then think we will chill for abit as the fireworks arent until late (shame really as might miss them, dont want my 2 yr old being all moody the next day *** hes stayed up so late)
What is fantulusion????

Thank you for all the replies! We have decided to get the vouchers as I would prefer to budget beforehand and have the meals paid for and not have to take a wad of cash with us! I do realise they don't save much but they cover the restaurants we want to eat in. We only get one voucher per night so will have one day without one so will go to rainforest cafe. Cowboy cookout is included which is good and I will pay the extra for cafe mickeys!

Hello! How exciting! How old are your children/child? Ours are 10, 6 and 3 years, we haven't told them yet, going to surprise them on the day! We are driving there and staying at Davy Crockett Ranch.

Might see you at the cowboy cookout then!

Fantulusion is a parade in the evening all lit up. We are going to stay up for the fireworks as its the only chance we will have to see them and am sure they will be worth it! I expect our 3 yr old daughter will be fast asleep in the pushchair by then though!

Fantulusion sounds good, should be there for the fireworks, will prob get little one sorted for bed the go out with him in the pushchair so he can fall asleep.
