This is a multi question post and hope these questions come in handy to others. If these questions have been asked before can you direct me to those posts?

1. We would like to eat breakfast and lunch in our villa and are looking for some simple ideas? We are flying in, so can't bring a lot of kitchen stuff and don't want to order a bunch of supplies.

2. What kind of supplies are in the villa kitchens, cookie sheets, pans, 8x10 baking dishes, etc???? Thing of making things like bacon, so we can have it with breakfast and then blts, etc.

3. We will be changing from the AKL on day 4 to the GFV for another 6 days, will they transfer our cold items, or will we have to buy all new???

Thank you so much for your responses.

Warmly, Erika

1. We always eat breakfast in our villa - DH fries bacon & cooks eggs while I get dressed! We don't usually need much for just the two of us, so we buy from the resort store, but when we have other folks with us and have our car we stop at an off-site grocery to get what we need. We've also ordered from Garden Grocer with good results, and We Go Shop is another service mentioned favorably on the DIS boards.

2. I know there is a frying pan and various sizes of pots, but I don't remember whether there are baking dishes, etc. too or not. I know there's a list somewhere but I can't find it right now.

3. Yes, they'll transfer your cold items. Just pack them separately and label whether cold or frozen and let bell services know when they come to pick up your luggage (or when you drop it off with them). They'll store it in their refrigerator/freezer and deliver it to GFV with your other luggage.

We always cook in the room. We have Dizzy Dolphin Deliver our groceries. You have a full kitchen, including a broil pan, pots and pans, baking dishes, cookie sheets. Etc.

Some easy things to make are tacos, lasagna, hot dogs and you can always make sandwiches and soup.

I try and make a menu before we leave and put spices in snack bags for cooking. (Tic tic containers work really good for everyday spices)

I pack a microwave bacon pan. If there is something you need call housekeeping and they will gladly supply it if they have it.

Buy precooked bacon and microwave it for 30 seconds. Perfection.
