mousesavers says for $19.99 you can eat all you want at a counter service w/wristband but when i went to buy it on univorlando it says 1 trip..includes 1 entree no drink and i think dessert
doesn't seem ilke a deal to me...anyone use it?

I checked it out before our trip last summer and chose not to buy it. It's only good at a handful of restaurants in each park.

Whats the drink deal? I understand you can buy a cup and refil it...are the refils free? Can you get the drink deal with out doing the dining plan? Thanks

It is all you can eat, but I believe each trip through the food line you get one complete meal (entree and dessert, not beverage). So if you are REALLY hungry, you can go through the line and get a meal, then go back and get another. The all you can drink deal is $8.99 I believe (a day). I'm torn on whether to get it for our June trip, but think it is a good deal if you can get 3 meals/day out of it. During the summer and holidays when the parks are open late, you could eat lunch at 11:30, dinner at 4:30 and get a 3rd meal at say, 8:30. With teenage boys, I can see the advantages of this! And it's not just hamburger and fries, it includes entree salads and Asian meals.

We never eat enough to make it worth our while. Also, I have a preferred annual pass and get discounts on meals in the parks. They also give discounts to AAA members, so keep that in mind. The only way the meal deal would be worth it to us would be if we were big dessert eaters. The CS meals offer plenty of food and we never want dessert. We come out ahead to skip the meal deal. Another thing to consider is that the limited choices of restaurants on the meal deal, make the restaurants that honor the meal deal more crowded than others.

If I am not mistaken, and correct me if I am, the drink deal is the same you find at most amusement parks where you buy a large souvenir cup with the giant straw and it's good for refills anytime for only a small amount (BG is $1.09 so somewhere around $1-$2 I'm guessing).

There is a refillable mug that anyone can buy at various locations that comes in many shapes and sizes that can be refilled. I have not gotten the meal deal personally, but from what I understand, the drink deal is $8.99 for unlimited refills at no additional charge. I don't know if there is an actual cup/mug associated with this or if it is on your wristband for your meal deal.

Someone who has actually used the plan should come along and let us know.

there used to be a offer that if you bought the meal deal you also got a free evening dinner in city walk. We did this last year around june time so we had food all day in the park and a posh meal in the evening in the restaurants. I do not know if they inc this any more and you will have to check on this but we had a right blow out on my partners birthday when we went to IOA.

we got the dining plan for one day for 2 parks in october - if you plan at being at the parks from open to close its worth it - also the drink program can only be bought if you buy the dining plan - you get one of the large sippy cups that say meal deal on them and you are entitled to unlimited refills all day (this is a great deal) we are going back this october and my travel agent called me and march and told me that universal is adding it to you package if you are staying 3 or more nights - so this time we will have it while we are there and we dont have to pay for it

as far as the dinner at city walk as of October 07 it was an additional charge to add the city walk dinner on and it was not worth it because you can only select from a already determined menu, you cant order off the regular menu
