meal at Whispering Canyons first day?

We will staying at AKL March 29-April 4 and for the first night I have a PS for Whispering Canyon at 6:40. Will we be able to view fireworks if we stay at WL for evening or should i try for a PS at Ohana's instead? I choose WC because we are considering staying at WL for our next visit and I also thought the food would appeal to our group.

In '97 we could see the fireworks from our room at WL.

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think you can see the fireworks from the restaurant {trees, restaurant not high up enough} But if you finish your meal in time, or eat earlier, you can go outside and watch them

no you wont be able to see the fireworks from there. Have breakfast there instead, its better than dinner anyway.
