Ok, I'm sure this has been asked before but is ME safe for a child who is still in a rear facing car seat? He will be 9 months old when we go and is very little (only about 13-14 pounds at 6 months). Has anyone taken thier little ones on ME? Am I better off to get a town car?

There are no seat belts on the DME buses. But, you most certainly keep the baby in the rear facing car seat on the seat next to you...holding onto it if you wish. Same thing on the Disney buses to and from the parks.
However, if you are concerned at all about safety, you may want to rent a car. The buses are quite safe, I have seen very small babies being transported on them with no issues at all. But, that is up to each family to make that decision.

you cannot take a carseat onto the ME bus you must store it under the bus and carry the child on the bus and hold them. we took are 10 month old in april and I just kept her in the chest carrier while on the ME bus and most of the time on the other buses as you wont be able to use a car seat on them either so if you are not comfortable with not having your child in a carseat then you should rent a car.

Thanks, we took our other DS when he was 9 months old and rode all the on property buses and didn't worry about it, I just wasn't sure about the ME bus. It sounds like other people have done it and been fine though.
