ME--What time for return to airport if not flying out but just meeting someone???

HI

Our situation is that on our return ME leg to the airport we won't be flying out but only meeting someone to go to another destination.

I know that ME usually picks you up 3 hours prior to your flight but we won't have a flight only a time to meet someone that is coming in on one.

Their flight arrives at 6:16pm and we are wondering what time we need to give to ME to pick us up to get us there by that time? We definitely don't need to leave 3 hours before that time so we are wondering --do we call ME with a specific time that we should leave the resort by??? Or just how do we do this??? We are staying at ASMo and there isn't even a return time listed on our documents from ME because we are'nt returning until after a cruise almost a week later so therefore our actual return flight is not listed on the day we will be checking out of the resort.

Any help or insight on this would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks

One hour before your rendezvous would probably do it.

Pick a flight, any flight, any airline leaving two hours after your rendezvous. Have this in mind to give to the ME reservation person at the resort (at least a day before checkout).

The ME bus that departs the resort 3 hours before that surrogate flight equals one hour before your rendezvous.

So, am I getting this right??

2hours after we meet up with my folks would be a flight around 8:16pm--this would be the time and of course flight number and airline that I would have to give ME----that would put us being picked up around 5:15pm at the resort???

What would happen if say the mock flight airline and # that I gave them had some sort of delay---would they know about that and change our time accordingly??? If so then that could possibly mess up the time we would need to get there.


Also, I was under the impression that we had to call ME and give them this info before we left?? Can we still do that or do we have to wait until a day before we leave at the resort???

So about an hour to get to the airport ---would this be the same even if they had other resorts to pick up after us???

You can modify your return reservation any time including after you get there, up until a day before checkout.

If your homebound flight is delayed at the last minute, Disney does not keep track of it. You still have your reserved bus time.

The ME bus schedule is not razor sharp. They aim to get you to the airport two hours before your flight leaves. You can ask for an earlier time if you absolutely positively don't want your party to beat you to the airport.
