I'm afraid I haven't heard anything about DME mailings but I have heard that in the event of a strike/lockout the package mailings (booklet, vouchers, etc) will have to be picked up at check in at the resort. Obviously this is not an option for DME. Maybe they'll send them via courier? Even if you don't get the yellow tags you can still give them your baggage tags that the airline gives you and they will deliver your luggage without issue.

This. I doubt they'll pay international courier rates just for ME tags. When you go to the ME counter, just give them your name and resort ( or your resort confirmation number) and your airline baggage tags. They can get your bags and get you on the bus without the stuff in the mailing.

My tags didn't get mailed to me last year, it was all good they found our reservation and were able to get the bags to us. They are able to do quite a bit at those kiosks

I was told this morning they will courier our tags to us for our September trip.

Id be surprised if they do in fact courier ...it's no biggie....they'll have you on the manifest for ME.

Well, I posted here on Thursday, but on Friday afternoon, my doorbell rang and UPS delivered my DME paperwork and yellow luggage tags I will get the rest of my paperwork at the resort, but just wanted to let you know that I received my luggage tags.

Well ours didn't show up the first time and the second time they couriered them. My money is on them offering to that if you call if/when there is a strike. We had ours the day after I called (we were still 2 weeks out, so I was very surprised!)

I'm a TA and we got communication that in the event of a postal strike, dme tags would be sent by "alternate means". So you'll get your tags!
