Me = Proud Hubby

Yay a bit of fame! As Andy Warhol said 'everybody will be famous for 15mins' or something like that anyway:)

DW is in the paper this week :banana: Had to share!

I think she's even prouder than I am mind you. I need to make sure it doesn't go to her head :rotfl:

her first reaction when seeing the pictures (She is Amanda, in case anyone was wondering which one she is!): "OMG I'm not wearing any make up! Look at my hair!" :rolleyes:

Just read the article and have been totally inspired!! I work in a nursery in the pre-school room, and have always wanted to do something like that!
Congratulations to your wife for her 15 minutes of fame :cool1:

Brilliant Steffi - get out on the school field in the long grass with a sweep net and see what you can find! :thumbsup2 http://www.visitparks.co.uk/education/

The whole team has been going since 2006 and she's been with them for that time - they've worked their backsides off to build it up to what it is today - and this year they've actually had to stop taking bookings for the summer term because they've hit capacity!

They also worked very closely with publishing companies and have the sole rights for outdoors-based activities around The Gruffalo, Gruffalo's Child and Hungry Caterpillar!

She's been a busy bee this last two years with the increase in schools and she covers weekends / school holidays over at Marsh Farm Country Park (also owned by the Council) - and almost every spare penny goes into her savings account for our florida trip next year, which is by far the most important thing :rotfl:

We're on a hospital site, so it's not easy to get out to the nearest park, but I guess I shouldn't make excuses! :thumbsup2

When I was at uni, I looked a lot into Forest schools, and this sounds very similar... and I love the fact you guys have rights for the Gruffalo and the Hugry Caterpillar! :goodvibes

And, I put all my pennies into the Florida pot too for October ;)

Thank you all!! She's still a little on a high, and is doing her 'other' job for the council at the Farm this weekend - leaves me to get on with my hobby of garden railway-ing so i don't mind :goodvibes
