I am debating between using ME and Tiffany. We have used Tiffany in the past with great success, but the extra $90+ would buy a nice meal. We also used ME in June for the return to MCO only (we had flown into TPA), also with great success.

My two main questions:

1) If NW arrives in "B", how far is it over to "A" to the welcome area and bus boarding? This is a long weekend trip, so we will only have our carry-on bags and are arriving around 7:30 pm.

2) This is my niece (16) and nephew's (14) first trip to WDW. Parents of teens - do you think they would get a bigger kick out of ME or the private towncar? I guess I could ask them directly, but I am trying to make this once in a lifetime trip for them as much as a surprise as possible.

Thank you!

Don't know answer to quesiton 1.

IMHO, the kids would get a bigger kick out of the private towncar - it feels like a limo to me! I'm sure they been on buses before, so if the $$ aren't a huge consideration, my advice is to go with the limo and make it a surprise.

Best wishes -

I agree with Carol. Although I'm a HUGE DME fan, I would imagine a private town car ride would be more "special" and interesting for the teens.

The only thing to swing it towards DME would be the Disney DVD infomercial they might like.

Your plane doesn't arrive in A or B. After you get off the tram you walk to the A or B side of the terminal.

A towncar should get you to your resort in 30-45 minutes, DME 70-120. On the way back DME will pick you up 3 hours before your flight, with a towncar you can cut it to 2 hours.

1) We just got back and used ME. Northwest is in B and it was like a 7 minute walk not bad at all (And we were dragging our luggage since we didnt get the tags in time)

2) Honestly I would say save your money, ME is great it pulls you right up to the hotel and your saving $90.00!

Well, you're comparing drive time to off the plane and to the resort time.

Our systems let us know when a guests plane has landed. We get the arrival time info. It then usually takes 70 minutes (give or take) for the guest to arrive to the resort, from the landing time.

A towncar will be similar... although they do not have stops, the guest then has to wait at baggage claim, which makes them both about equal landing to resort time wise.

OP is only taking carry on luggage. I had to wait 20 minutes before my bus left, the driver drove very slow and I was the third stop. More like 90 minutes. I think he'd save 30-60 minutes from MCO and could probably save an hour going to MCO. The time savings would be on the low side if he's staying at a resort like POP or GF that are the first stop and greater if he was staying at a resort like AKL which is usually the last stop.

I think taking ME is part of the Disney "magic".

Here's a thought, go all out and get a stretch limo for your arrival, and do DME for your return.
