ME Luggage tags-cut in half or not?

The instructions on the back say to tear at the perforation and create 2 single tags, but they look awful small when you remove the white portion on the back. Do you just use the whole thing and remove the sticky portion on either end? TIA!

You actually tear along lengthwise to make the two tags. Then you can loop the long tag through the handle. You only remove the very bottom of the sticky part to join the two ends together. HTH

Sometimes only one tag per person is sent to you. Do not cut across the middle.

If peel off wax paper extends to both ends, remove some from each end before sticking the ends together.

Right. The tags used to always come in sets of two, which is why the instructions say to separate them.

You need to remove both ends of the backing. If you only remove one end, there is a chance your tag will come off of your luggage.
