ME ? for those who have recently

My adult dd is flying in with us. We are staying at WL and she is staying off site with college friends. My two little ones and DH are also flying in.

She is not really eligible of ME since she is staying off site. The plan was for her to go with us WL and her friends are meeting us for dinner at Kona that night. After dinner she is going off with them. I hate to have her travel to WL on a shuttle or taxi without us. My questions are these:

1. Do you think she can travel with our party to WL? I have not made ME arrangements yet. I need to call. Can I just add her to our ME reservation even though she is not on our resort res?

2. Do you think I can pay op for her on ME? The resort buses were never full in the past when we flew in. I don't remember them checking each person in the party.

3. Do you have any other suggestions for us?

Since she's not on the resort reservation there's no way she can just walk onto a DME bus and ride for free.

HOWEVER, she still might be able to be on the same bus as you. She can go to the Mears counter and pay for Mears transportation. They will give her a "ticket," more or less, which will enable her to ride a DME bus. I've never done this, but I would guess that you should take care of her stuff first, before you check in at DME yourself. I would do this to try to ensure you could arrange to be on the same bus.

Also remember that you'll have the delay of waiting at baggage claim for her luggage. Since you'll have to do that, you might consider picking up your own luggage at the same time. You could take it to the DME bus, the driver will load it under the bus, and then unload it for you when you reach WL.

{I can't BELIEVE I'm actually advising someone to go to baggage claim and take their own luggage on a DME bus. But in this case, it might make sense since she'll be waiting at baggage claim for someone else's bags, anyway.}

That is what we will do. As far as bags. I always pack one check on bag for all four of us. Since I am under the limit. I will just check her bag with our bag. She traveled to ireland with a carry on. I suspect she will carry on here.
