ME for a ride back to airport... w/o flight

Maybe someone here has info to help us.

We are flying into MCO for our trip but, renting a car at MCO to drive home.

So

Can we use ME for a ride from POFQ to the airport without a flight booked?

If so what is the best way to do this, without being picked up 3 hours early?

You would have to look for an actual flight and give them that flight info. Factor in the 3 hour pick up for the time you actually want to be at the airport.

I don't know, but you can waste an awful lot of time riding the bus.

why not rent a car closer to DW. I think their is a rental location right near downtown

People do this all the time. Disney will not force you to get on an airplane if you ride ME to the airport.

Yep, pretend flight is what I did. Only ours was the opposite of you. We flew into MCO several days early, rented a car and toured FL. Then the day we returned the car, I used a flight for that day to book our ME trip to WDW. I'm sure you could do the same for the backend. Just choose a flight that's about 1 1/2 hours after when you want to pick up your car as you won't need time for security lines, etc that ME factors in. Also, keep in mind that car rental ressies are hardly set in stone so you can be a little late for them.

EX. you want to pick up your rental car at 3pm. You pick a flight that leaves MCO at 4:30pm. DME picks you up around 1:30pm and should get you to MCO around 3pm and you walk-in and pick up your car.

But, as others have said there are other possible rental locations to choose from such as the Dolphin Resort. If you are actually returning the rental to MCO at a later date then I would bother with DME.

THANK YOU- shocker that is exactly the info I was looking for!

Unfortunately the rental will be delivering us all back to Missour'a . So due to it being a one way rental out pick up location was limited.
