So, my DH and I decided to pretend we were skipping our yearly trip to WDW. We usually go in April so the kids now believe this year will be one without our favorite mouse....NOT:rotfl2:

Like most kiddies their age, they have begun testing mom and dad's limits (and boy have they been pushing) so we told them that we wouldn't go back to WDW until they stopped fighting with each other and proved they could act mature (i know, i know.... it was worth a shot). Apparently, they don't realize how much Mom & Dad LOVE Disney. It's been 18 months - too long!

Soooooo - We booked a trip for 11/1 - 11/9/11. As you can imagine it's a tough secret to keep. How will I prepare without them noticing? Will they see that I go on Disney websites multiple times a day? Can I bite my tongue long enough?

Stay tuned to find out:cutie:

Ok...you don't have to wait long...lol

Two weeks, six days left and we are still trying to figure out how to break the surprise. We've decided we will tell them on 10/30. This way they have a day to let it soak in (I've heard a few horror stories about the "last minute surprise" being to overwhelming. I can just picture my oldest DD having a panic attack because she had no time to charge her kindle or my DS having a melt down because he forgot his nintendo DS for the plane. Both scenerios eventually lead to a time out so lets try to avoid 'em:surfweb:

I picked up a few northface type jackets (different brand) at Costco yesterday. I got each child (except for baby) on. I have an embroidery machine so I thought I'd could embroider a character and their name on each one. I'll wrap each one and leave it on their bed. Then we we get home (we will be at a friends house all day on 10/30) they will see them and SURPRISE!

Any thoughts my fellow WDW fanatics?
