ME and getting to the resort in the AM

For those who have used ME and arrived at your resort before check in, I have a question.

Based on tips from the Disboards, we are planning to bring our swimsuits in our carryons and enjoy the pool until our room is ready. I had envisioned this not being an issue with our carryon bags, as we will just have them with us at our pool chairs. But now that we are actually packing, I'm realizing we'll also have DH's laptop, and possible DD's as well. Plus the cameras, and other things we might not just want to leave sitting by a pool chair.

Has anyone been in this situation? Is there a safe place to leave some of our personal items once we arrive at the resort, but before our room is ready?
What does everyone else do with their "stuff" during this time?

Each resort has a "luggage storage room" that is managed by Bell Services. Your items that you don't want by the pool can be stored there.

You will get a numbered receipt and each item will be marked with that number and your name.

This is true, but you might want to consider having the laptop, at least, and maybe the cameras, if they are expensive, placed in the resort's safe. In general, the resort will have no liability for any items that disappear from the luggage storage room, but they will for items stored in the safe deposit box. The front desk will store these items for you if you don't want everything in the luggage room.
