MDE won't let me add ADRs made over the phone

Forgive my OCD, but I'd really like to have all of my ADRs listed in my MDE account. However, when I try to add a couple that I made over the phone, I get this error message:
The Reservation Contact has linked this reservation to his or her account. To make any changes to this reservation, please ask the Reservation Contact.

Any idea how I can get the system to take that off, so that I can link them into my MDE. I REALLY don't want to have to call Disney about such a trivial matter....so I thought I'd bug you guys, lol.

Thanks,
Erin

Are you trying from the app or your computer...the app seems to be "temperamental"

Is it possible that the couple that won't add are unusual ADRs? I made a reservation for my daughter for the Wonderland Tea Party at the Grand Floridian over the phone, and when I got the confirmation number, I waited a little and tried to add it to MDE with no luck. I called for help, and the nice CM explained that since that is some kind of unique reservation, I couldn't add it like normal ADRs, but I could make a "note" of it in MDE instead, complete with the confirmation #. And I agree that this is the perfect kind of thing to call and ask about - I really had no way of knowing the special status of this one reservation otherwise.

I ended up calling and they said that both my husband and I each have a separate account-----linked to the same email, which she said should be impossible. I know years ago, I would get messages on the Disney website about needing to "clean up" accounts. I went through all of the steps, but evidently there is still some remnant out there somewhere (Disney IT strikes again!) Everything should be under my husband's name- that is what we use for everything, but when I called, the three missing dining reservations were made under my user name. The only way to fix all of this is to try to have them merge both accounts (which again, share the same email address so the IT person I spoke with said this should not be possible to have two names/sign-ons with one email address).

Calling from work, I have to use my cell phone since it is long-distance. And of course, the call dropped in the middle of the conversation (this building has horrible reception). Now I'm afraid that everything is going to be screwed up with our resort reservations, dining reservations that were showing, and our FP+. GRRRR!

What a pain! Several years ago, we had to clean up multiple accounts under one email address, too - we had our MDE account, but a different one for the Disney Movie Club, and another one for the Disney Movie Rewards, and even a really old one for some Tinker Bell online reality game that I had signed up for through the Disney store website (?). And the first tier of technical support we called made it worse - had us create two or three new accounts with new passwords, it was crazy and didn't help at all, and the next tier of support that the first tier bumped us up to couldn't believe what the first tech had done. But the second tech guy was able to merge everything eventually and it all worked out, so I'm hopeful that all of your issues will be sorted out, too. Good luck!

Yeah, I really thought that everything had been cleaned up. We have the same log-in for Disney Movie Rewards, DVC, and the Disney Store. I really thought everything had been merged. I am just going to hope that the woman I spoke with didn't go any further when the call dropped. I would rather sort out everything after our trip, than run the risk of things getting lost or inaccessible.
