MDE question

I booked my familys disney reservation through orbitz and added it to MDE, My parents will be joining us for one day at MK and I booked them a room for 2 nights also through orbitz. I want to be in control of their reservation so I can make FP for everyone.

Can I just add their reservation to my MDE account? Or do I need to explain to my 70 year old parents how to create a MDE account, have them add the reservation and somehow link it to my account?

I believe you can add them to your account as family members (just like you would with your spouse or children) and then link the reservation to you and assign it to them. The one area I'm not 100% sure about is will MDE let there be a reservation on your account that your name isn't on. If that makes sense. I think it will but I haven't tried it myself

You can absolutely add your parents' reservation to your MDE account, even if it's in their name. I did this exact thing with my parents. You just need to add them as "Friends & Family" to your MDE account. Then you can make FP+ choices for everyone together. Worked great!
