MDE question

We found a great deal on a rental car and are wondering if we could still use MDE for our luggage even if we won't be in it? We'd love to be able to go right to a park and bypass luggage claim if possible. Also, can we still do curbside checkin at the resort and then drive ourselves to the airport later in the day, avoiding checkin at the airport?

RAC (Resort Airline Check-in) is separate from DME (MDE is My Disney Experience); you don't need to use DME to use RAC.
