MDE not up and running in UK yet, anyone heard of this?!?

Had a lot of problems with my booking and Thomson has just said its because MDE IS not up and running properly till the 27th of Feb, are they just fobbing me off? (MDE showing only 1 room and 3 guests instead of 2 rooms 6 guests, also they have the wrong month!) :erm:
 
Working fine for me :confused3 I have my reservation all restaurants and magic bands showing. I did book direct with Disney, don't know if that made a difference :coffee:
 
It's working for me. But I has to fight it..... I booked room and tickets only package through Disney. This is why I never deal with UK travel agents for a Disney holiday. They are all useless. Can you call Disney IT team direct?
 
Just a heads up we have been many times in the past and as others have said it's always cheaper and easier to book everything apart from flights with disney, the. Book flight with someone like virgin, we have found in the past this has a massive saving on buying the whole package from a uk tour company plus you get the extra benefits if there are any issues like your finding you can talk to disney direct.
 

We chose our Magic Bands before Christmas, and have just done most of our ADRs too without a hitch. I seem to remember someone saying about needing a 12 digit reservation number that you get from your TA ?
 
"What a load of rubbish" would be my initial statement. I know it's not easy to use and it doesn't really like our tickets but it certainly is up and running for us in the UK.

We booked through Ocean Florida last April and our booking is showing up including the hotel, our 14 day Ultimate tickets and the dining plan. My sister also made their booking with Ocean Florida last August and my mum with Charter Travel in December and we've been able to link all our booking via MDE and we can all see each others booking and tickets.

I'm assuming as we've enabled the friends and family view that any of us will be able to make ADR for the entire party of 8.

It is working fine for me too! Magic bands chosen park tickets all linked.

I couldn't agree more with Jkarrows;50747621 post. It is exactly what we have done for our next trip. I have had to call the MDE helpline on a couple of occasions with some minor issues which were sorted very quickly and Disney cast members are so customer service friendly that they are an absolute pleasure to deal with. :goodvibes

I Gave up on my so called travel agent after being called a liar by a so called Disney expert at the virgin call centre and rang Disney direct. Disney sorted it out and I had no more problems with my booking or fast pass pre booking. I've been and come back boo, everything worked like a dream. MDE wasn't the issue, my UK travel agent was.......go straight to Disney help line, UK travel agents appear slow to adapt.
 
TBH MDE was already up and running for us back in august when we customised our MBs for our october trip.
the 27th feb. excuse is just a load of bull poo-poo.

It's not working perfectly, but it's working.
OP, if it can display one room, there is no reason to believe that it can't display the other room. it's more a matter of having both reservations associated with one another (like a family and friends issue)
 
I had a lot of problems with linking all our guests and magic bands pre trip. Virgin kept fobbing me off but I knew I was right. Disney couldn't help much but in the end I contacted the in resort team for virgin and they did it in a day so suspect they are lying. Do they have an in resort team?

Virgin are always rubbish pre-trip. Last time they reneged on the price even though they had given a booking ref no. They claimed they had quoted on Fort Wilderness rather than Wilderness Lodge. Sharp practice as always. Ended up taking my business elsewhere.

Won't use them again that's for sure! They also randomly hiked our price without explanation (just a new invoice). Couldn't tell me why. Took me weeks of badgering for them to finally revert to original price. We're just awful but mainly as off shored so much. Was lied to repeatedly. That said no probs when we got there!
 
All rubbish MDE is working fine just got home from WDW worked perfectly before and there.
 
Like others have said we used mde for last nov trip and have already got bands for this oct trip
