I went in today to purchase LLMP for my first available 3 day advance purchase, which would have been Nov. 9. The system let me purchase through Nov. 16, our last day, even though we are offsite. Confused.

Oh! I thought you had to do it every day if offsite.

Guests with date-based theme park tickets (which require the Guest to choose a start date at the time of purchase) can purchase 3 days before the first day of their ticket, for the total number of valid admission days on their ticket.

No just if you have an AP or non-dated ticket and both still require a Park reservation. As long as you have a dated ticket you are good for up to 14 days as @lanejudy covered.

You can book your whole trip starting 3 days before check in day.
