MDE Issues

I feel like I’m losing my mind.

I currently have two trips planned. One in June and one in August.

My August trip has two room reservations. One is room only that I’m on. The other is a package that my sister is on. I booked both rooms under my email and account and listed my sister as the guest.

In MDE, I can only see the resort reservation that I am on. I can’t see the other one that I booked. Shouldn’t I be able to see both since I booked both? What if I wanted to change the package? I can see the tickets linked to my sisters package, but I can’t see the resort stay. Also the email confirmation lists me as a guest, not her, but has her Disney profile picture?

Why is Disney IT so bad?

Do you know if your sister can see both reservations - or at least see 'hers'? She might need to link that reservation in her MDE account, since she's primary. Once she does, you should be able to see it since she's sharing plans with you. This is just an educated guess - might help, might not. If she hasn't linked the reservation, no one will see it in MDE.

She can see it in hers and she can see my June reservation, but she can’t see the August reservation that I’m on? It’s weird. Could it be because they’re the same resort for the same days?

I forget the proper terminology, but do you both have your accounts set to view ALL plans with each other (as opposed to only viewing SHARED plans)? Since you aren't in the same room on the August trip, MDE may not recognize that these plans should be considered shared since you aren't part of each other's reservations.

Yep we both checked. Plus I can see her tickets from the package, but not the resort reservation. At the end of the day it’s fine as long as it’s there. I’m just the one who goes to Disney regularly. She hasn’t been since we were kids so I’ll be managing most of the trips plans.

Using the MDE website, add a Note and include both of you on it. If you haven't added a Note before, click Add More Plans in the My Plans, Reservations and Tickets section.

Once you make a dining reservation with both of it on it you will be able to see all her plans and her resort reservation. We have traveled with my sister many times and for some reason the dining reservation trick works. :)
