Anyone else unable to pull anything up in the iPhone MDE app? Been about 24 hours of trying. Deleted and reinstalled, signed out and now can't sign back in. Anyone experiencing this now or have in the past?

I think I have narrowed it down. I think it is either my home router, or Comcast Internet. When I turn off wifi, it works. Turn wifi back on and nothing. Yet the website works fine. Very strange coincidence, if nothing else.

Sounds like an issue with the connection between your iPhone and your wireless router.

Can you browse the web using Safari on the iPhone while connected to your home WiFi?
Have you rebooted your iPhone (hold both the power button & home button until the Apple logo appears)?

As a last result, you can reset your network settings on the iPhone (Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings). This will not erase any data, but you will need to re-establish any WiFi connections.

Thanks, Michael for the tips. I didn't try the network settings, I will try that.

All other apps work as does the MDE website. Very strange. I've reported to Apple, Comcast and Disney, not sure exactly where the issue lies.

That is odd. Not sure if resetting the network settings will help in this case. If you do the reset network settings, you will need to re-enter the password for any secure WiFi connection.

Same problem with my iPhone. I think it's if you have an older phone, like me. I've got an iPhone 4 - and the app none longer runs on it. Doesn't matter if I'm on wireless or cellular. Resetting network doesn't help. Rarely to never runs.

Sometimes it works - but it's REALLY slow (even on a great wi-fi connection), but it often just doesn't work.

Recently re-updated my iPad 2 iOS and the app - and now that works much better - but the phone is still crap - it's not usable in the parks.

I have an iPhone 4 too. It has been acting up lately. I guess it has become obsolete. Hanging on until my upgrade in August!

My issue had to be a Comcast issue. It resolved after a day. I have an iPhone 6, so it wasn't an older device issue.

For those still on an iPhone 4 waiting for their contract to be up, I would suggest NOT getting the iPhone 5C. While a pretty good phone, I would go for the iPhone 5s. A MUCH better phone. And the current difference in on contract pricing is free for the 5C in 8 GB, and $99 for the 5s in 16 GB. There are huge differences in the internals between them, and for the difference in price, you will be better served spending the additional $99 now, especially since, at minimum, you are likely spending $50/month for 24 months when you sign the contract, so $1,200.

Cee - if you held off this long wit a 4, may as well wait until mid September when the next iPhone comes out. The 5s will likely be free on contract at that time.

You can use MDE via web browser on your smartphone.
I just finally bought an iPhone 6 last week to replace my 4s and I would often times have issues with the MDE app in the Parks. A CM told me about pulling up MDE in my phone's browser and ever since then, that's what I do if the app gives me any issues at all - it's great!

We were at MK last weekend with my new phone and didn't have any trouble! :flower1:
