MDE App on Samsung Galaxy S7 problems?

Does anyone else basically find that the app is useless on the Samsung Galaxy S7? I can see wait times, but literally ANY other thing I try to do gets met with the endless spinning circle.

My phone software is up to date and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app numerous times.

Is this app this bad for anyone else?
 
The app has always been buggy, but usually not that bad. Have you tried clearing the app data? Make sure your background data isn't restricted. My son, and daughter both have S7's, and both run the app. I don't recall either of them complaining to me that it wasn't working. I will double check with them to be sure though.
 
I'm having issues as well. I can't see my updated ADR in the app or on the site, but when I try to make another one it shows up (changed our time and added another person).

Yeah, I've done all the app data/cache cleaning and stuff. Nothing is running in restricted mode or anything.
 

I think I just figured it out. If I turn off "Power Saving Mode" it works! Well, ugh, though....that is the only way my phone lasts a decent amount of time. Good thing I have a backup charger that can fully charge my phone three times over.

See if you can access advanced settings in the power saving mode. I'd bet that is doing something like turning off background data.
 
I can'r use the app on my LG G5. It works until I sign in and then shuts down. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared cache, etc and still have the problem. I also put the app on my DHs S7 and it doesn't work on his phone either. The app just stops.

I sent an email to Disney IT and they have been working on it for a week and can't fix it either.

I go to WDW on June 16th so I hope it is fixed by then.

I have the S5 and the app has worked fine for me as long as it isn't on WiFi in the parks. The Samsung/AT&T WiFi doesn't work on my phone in the parks--my husband's Iphone works fine with WiFi. I just turn the WiFi off in the parks because it kills the battery--at least mine. The app works fine (or at least as fine as any Disney app/website works) at home with WiFi enabled. I am crossing my fingers on that one though because it is, as I type, updating and updates cause me to hold my breath.

Edited to add: Odd, but what about Disney's IT experience isn't, it downloaded an entirely NEW (v 4.11) app and left the old (v 4.9.2) behind. I had to uninstall the latter. The former appears to be working although a bit delayed--could be a function of poor signal strength here as well. I was able to make a FP+, could have ordered food, etc. All of my reservations are intact. Hope it continues to work.

My app worked fine up until about 2 weeks ago. and then it stopped. I have tried on WIFI without WIFI...it opens for about 10 seconds and then stops.

When I first attempted to log in to the new App (4.11), it shut down too. I immediately tapped again and it allowed me to log in.
