MDE account question

I have a MDE account with my DH and three kids listed as my family.

DD is going on a trip to WDW with her friend in the spring. Should she set up a new MDE account in her name so that she can make FPs when the time comes? DD has an AP, which shows up under her name on my account. If she makes a new account, will her AP show up there too? I know these are dumb questions, but I don't want to mess anything up for her and her friend.

The easiest thing to do is add her friend to your MDE account. Then your DD can book the FPs for the 2 of them.

I wonder though how this would effect the friend's ability to use a MagicBand with her own credit information to charge at shops, restaurants, etc.? Would she have to give all her credit information to this person's daughter to add to MDE? Just curious....

If they are indeed staying onsite, the resort can add her CC info when they check-in.

If offsite, she'd purchase in any manner without the use of her MB.

Thanks everyone! I will add DD's friend to my account and DD can book their FP when the time comes.

They are staying onsite (using our DVC points), but will be using cash and gift cards to pay for things, so they won't be using magic bands to charge things.
