Thank you SO much! For two people it comes to about the same with Lyft. Lyft right now, not January 1, which may have a higher charge is $37.77 but with tip about $50 but guessing January 1 will be higher. I'm just going to book Mears.
For over two people, I believe Lyft will be less expensive.

for more than 2 people you have to factor in using Lyft XL. It's next to impossible to stuff more than 2 people in a regular lyft, especially when bags are involved.

I have switched to Uber/Lyft recently and think it's worth the extra cost over Magical Express, and I imagine it will be worth the price over the new Mears service.

Like Sandi we have used Tony Hinds for our DVC stays before a cruise. His service is great! We will definitely be using him for our trip in January. Love his service and I did not know he will stop at the grocery store. Good to know!

Also, there is a liquor store in the same parking lot of the Publix he stops at. We go into Publix and do our grocery shopping and then hit the liquor store. He gives you roughly 30 minutes for the stop, so there is more than enough time to walk through both Publix and the liquor store to get what you need. It's perfect.

After our experience with the WDW bus system this past Summer I can't imagine ever being without a personal vehicle ever again. If you have small children it's easily the best option.
