Hi all,

We are planning on flying into Orlando and taking ME to WDE Coronado Springs. At the end of our stay, we would like to take ME back to the airport and pick up a shuttle from the airport to take us to Port Canaveral for a Royal Carribbean cruise. If we used ME to get us back to the airport, we would save on the shuttle prices since most leave from MCO.

Does this seem feasible? Has anyone tried this option? Any other suggestions that I may be missing?

Thanks!

What is the cost of the shuttle from the airport to the port? It might be cheaper just to rent a car.

We rented a car when we landed and turned it in at the Budget location at the port for less then $40 including the gas. Budget at the port then has a free shuttle to all the cruise ships at the port. It is like a 10-15 minute shuttle ride.

You can rent a car at many of the DTD resorts
Dollar can be rented at the Regal Sun resort across the street from DTD
Avis at the Hilton which is a 10 minute walk from DTD.
Budget also has a rental location close to DTD.

Thanks for your reply!

I called Travelynx and they quoted me for two persons round trip from WDW Coronado Springs to Port Canaveral then to Port Canaveral to MCO for $150. I priced Budget and their fee from the airport to the port was $68.

Travelynx will cost us $50 less if we take ME back to the airport and then catch their shuttle. Does anyone know if this will be a problem using ME?

NO problem using ME to the airport (MCO) on your check out day. What happens after you get to the airport doesn't matter.
