MCO to Port to POP

Can someone please tell me how does all this luggage transport work? I'm so used to staying on land and letting ME pick up my luggage. So... this is what I think happens and then you experienced cruisers can fix me.

I arrive at MCO and with the tags I put on my luggage at home DCL picks up my luggage.

Sometime in the afternoon my luggage shows up in my stateroom.

I put my luggage out in the hallway on my last night.

First day on land at some point my luggage arrives in my room at POP.

I'm not doing an official Land/Sea package. I booked them seperate since I'm spending 10 days on land. Is this how it happens? Please fix my flow if there is a problem.

i am interested in this as well. we are taking disney transport back to the pop and i always assumed that we had to take our bags to the bus ourselves, however, i read on another thread that once you put them out at night you donèt see them again till you get to the resort.
i can not imagine this is true because you have to take yourself and your items through customs, do you not.
i will wait and see what others say as well, good question.

We did this exact route. The first part is right. Once you put your bags on the plane, you will not see them again until they are in your room on the ship. As for when you go to POP, you will put them out the night before you get off of the cruise. On the day you leave the ship, you will find your bags, go through customs with them, and then take them to the bus. When you get to POP, you will take your bags off of the bus and proceed with check in. At least this is how it worked with us 3 weeks ago (oh how I wish I were there now. The snow outside is becoming too much for me)
