MCO Terminal C question

We are flying Jet Blue this August (usually fly SW) from Buffalo to MCO. I understand that it is in a different terminal (Terminal C). We are then going to get a taxi or Uber (level 6 I have read). But, how do we get there? Do we go (somehow) to Terminal A/B and then take the fake monorail or is there a level 6 in Terminal C? Will there be signage for this? We will be going to baggage carousel then looking for transportation to Disney area. I just don't want to be wandering around with luggage. TIA

There will of course be signage. Get off the plane, head to baggage claim, grab bags, head out the door. You'll be on Level 6.

Thank you! So this is much easier than Terminal A/B? I think?
I kept reading about how much walking there was. Looking at the map you provided, it looks like we get our bags and the taxi/ubers are right outside? Looks easy.

We had a car service, so I can’t help with that. But you’re going to love terminal C. The gates are a fair walk. But security & bag check when you leave is so much quicker & easier.

....be prepared to walk. ALOT.
That's what I have been hearing. Is this when we check in to the airport? It's a long walk to the gate?
When we land/pick up our luggage from baggage carousel, then go to get taxi/uber, that is a short walk?
I'm just trying to prepare my 80+ year old father. We are likely bringing a wheelchair for him to use in Disney, so this is another good reason to bring it. Thanks for your advice.

...when you arrive and go through Security, you walk up a ramp to the Plaza, which has numerous eateries and shops. Depending upon your gate, you go either left or right. For instance, we were first assigned to Gate 233, which is to the right. [Gates 230-238 are to the right]. However, they're 'backwards'. What I mean by that is Gate 238 s the first gate, then 237, and then 236, and so on, which to me, makes no sense. Be aware that the distance between gates is quite pronounced. However, the airport has these transports which kind of remind me of the cars on the Wedway People Move at WDW!

The long walks are to/from the gates. If your lucky, there will be an employee with a club car (aka golf cart) that can give you a ride to/from the gate.

It's a short walk from baggage claim to the ride share pickup location.

As others have said the walk is longer in a lot of cases or at least feels that way although wrong side of AB can be walk as well when taking Mears.
Follow the people leaving I honestly found it confusing but I do know you need to go up to go down. Nothing bad however just sterile hallways that make it feel long.
Getting to the gate I found easier as there are a lot of shops yes can be a walk but straight forward.

These are from late October of 2022 when it had only been open for 3 days.

The new terminal has been in operation for a while w and they seem to have the bugs worked out. The gates are on Level 2. When you get off the plane follow the signs for baggage claim. You will walk for a long time to the central area of the terminal then take escalators or elevators to Level 6, which is where baggage claim is located. After picking up your bags exit the front of the building and the Uber and Lyft drivers will meet you there. If you have no checked bags the procedure is the same - just go directly out the front doors.

For those flying into MCO Terminal C on an international flight, there is a ramp in the jetway that you will be sent up to get Level 6 where customs is located. There is a separate baggage claim for international flights which is before customs. After clearing customs, you will pass through the domestic baggage claim area to exit the terminal. Rental car pickup in Terminal C is in Level 4.
