We will be flying into MCO Saturday evening and staying at the Hyatt that night before our cruise. Any suggestions for good restaurants in MCO for dinner that night. We will be traveling with a five year old. Thanks!

We stayed there twice, the first time when my son was 6. Both times we ordered room service because we were tired and, while more expensive than going into the airport, was good food. I got sushi and my son got mac and cheese. And we ate it on the balcony overlooking the airport fountain, which was fun! My DH ate at the ESPN Sportszone (or some other sports-themed bar, I don't recall) Then for breakfast DH made rounds in the food court, McDonald's for the boy, a yogurt parfait from another place for me, he found a breakfast sandwich... I think there are a couple other sit down places, but I think you can find a few options to work around tastes and budgets! Enjoy!!

I would eat right at the restaurant at the Hyatt, check out the Hyatt website there is a menu and it looked pretty good.

I'd recommend McCoy's Bar & Grill right in the Hyatt. We had an evening flight arrival and it worked out great for us. My boys are 6 and 3, and with the kids menus they also got cute wooden airplanes that held the crayons. My boys loved it! I'll admit that a kids' menu and crayons won't always keep them occupied for an entire sitting, but those airplanes made the difference! My 3 yr old enjoyed taking the crayons out and putting them back into the holes, and also playing with the airplane, rolling it along the table and "flying" it! Plus it's a nice, casual setting so we didn't have to worry about changing out of our traveling clothes, but the menu was pretty impressive--not your standard bar food.

I also 2nd McCoys. When we checked into the Hyatt in May 2010, I asked if they could recommend a place to eat. He replied McCoys Bar & Grill. Of course I asked if they are kid friendly. He said yes they are, and gave me a card with a coupon for our meal. I don't remember but I think it was for 15% off our bill. :cool1: The food and service was excellent.

Room service is very expensive and the food wasn't that great. We just went to the food court our last trip and brought the food back to our room. We love Nathan's hotdogs and it's a treat for us whenever we are in FL. There is a Panda Express, Mc Donalds, and many other familiar (quick service) kind of places but expect to pay more there also.

McCoys in the Hyatt is very good, good menu. Chill's 2 inside the airport
is also very good, we will be flying in on Sat from the UK and have decided
that it's going to be Chill's, but there is lots of other good place's to eat.
