Hi everyone, we're currently trying to decide which airline to fly with and were looking for anyone's experiences with International queues in November. Go with Aer Lingus = no queues and slightly later arrival, or risk queues with BA and arrive 2.5 hours earlier.

Thoughts?

I always prefer pre-clearance. I'd rather clear US customs before a trip while I'm fresh, than to fly transatlantic 8 hours and have to stand on a line for a undetermined amount of time to clear US customs then.

also the price for me for this trip aer lingus was almost double the price and i believe aer lingus only has paid food no free meal

Not true; on transatlantic trips, economy passengers get a free meal. I don't know of any airline which doesn't serve a free meal for a transatlantic flight.
