anyone ever stay here, considering doing cruise next year and i consider it necessary to fly in the day before, would do evening flight to check in/sleep, no sense being bored at airport
how's the noise level, considering this for convenience of towncar to port next am

stayed there for a night last september, it was quiet! Couldn't hear any take-offs or landings and no noise considering the room was facing the terminal. It was very easy to get to. Check-in was a breeze and they have a nice pool area.

much thanks, if dw and i do dcl next year we can catch flight in evening, don't want to risk missing boat, and can't see straying far from airport, we may do night in port canaveral and do taxi to port in am, haven't decided

We stayed there a few years ago, the night before our cruise. We will be doing that again in July. Thanks to some great tips from a fellow DIS member, I was able to use Hotwire and get our room for $24 + $9.95 Hotwire fee. Not bad considering I paid $150 3 years ago to stay there! It is sooooo convenient to grab your bags from baggage claim and walk right to your hotel. We use DCL transfers and the process was very smooth and effortless. I always think worse case scenario, so I don't think I would ever chance flying in the day of our cruise (plus I think I would be exhausted that first night if I did).

my thoughts exactly, i've read too many disaster trip reports about missed sailings to even risk it, our first wdw trip ever in 89 started off sour, no nonstops from local airport back then, got fogged out of conmnection at bwi, flight crew ran out of flight time allowed while on ground at norfolk which was diversion airport, had to jump to charlotte douglas w/o luggage, 2 hr wait, flight to orlando, got to poly after waiting out mears shuttle(didn't know about towncars back then), at 5:00 pm, too exhausted after starting out on 7:30 am flight, up at 0500, ordered pizza from room service and collapsed into bed, bright side, wdw honored leftover park hpper, the old kind, paper with the date stamp lines on trip in 98 when we found them in an old dresser we were cleaning out and used the leftover day
