So I'm looking to move our flight to the night before the World. Arriving after 11:00 and checking in to the Hyatt. My question is ME for the next morning. How or what do I tell them? I've only booked ME for the morning we arive.

You can call DME directly at 866-599-0951 and tell them you want to book DME from airport to resort at whatever time you’d like to go. Have your resort reservation information at hand, since they need that to book your transfer. That way you won’t need any flight arrival information.

Do not call the Disney reservation line or use the web reservation form, since these require flight information and many of the Disney reservation agents only know how to complete the reservation form with that information being completed.

If you’ve already booked DME for the morning of your original planned arrival, you don’t need to do anything, except you should not use the yellow DME bag tags since you’ll want to retrieve your bags and take them to the Hyatt when you arrive. I have read that you can have Hyatt bell services retrieve your bags for a fee, but do not know any details about this.

Echo this. Spot on information!

I just called DME this week for the same purpose. They said, no problem, just check in at DME whenever you are ready to go to your Disney Resort. Then they sent me an email with an attachment letter with the barcode and reservation information to show DME.

Exactly what has been said already is the way to do it. We have stayed at the Hyatt at the tail end of our visits a few times. Easier to catch a an early morning flight home when all you have to do is take the elevator instead of the Magical Express.

We often end up adding an extra night at the beginning of our trip. Usually due to flight prices being better late night, and the desire to get a full park day in. Every time I look at the Hyatt... and end up booking a night in a value resort on property instead. Three reasons:

1- I get the travel over with all at once. I'd rather sleep in a little and head to the parks later in the morning instead of getting up early, catching the Magical Express to my hotel and then heading to the parks.
2 - My first park day is now 60+1 for planning purposes. It's an extra day head start on booking fast passes.
3 - The Hyatt usually isn't really a money saver. Usually a Disney value resort can be had for less.
