MCO, Delta to national

Help, arriving at MCO via Delta and getting car from National. Do we pick up luggage first? looking at the layout of MCO everything is on a different floor. We will have a toddler and a bunch of luggage. What is the easiest way to get from Point A to B to C. Thanks, Sherrie

Delta is in the B terminal. You will follow the signs and go down one level to claim your luggage. After you claim your luggage, ride the elevator down one level to the car rental counter and they can tell you how to get to the cars.
I think National is across the street, which means you go down and walk thru the tunnel under the street.
Someone can correct me if I missed anything.

The National counter is on level one in B terminal, take the elevator or escalator one level down from baggage claim. National's garage is across the street, just exit through the doors across from the counter and straight over. You could get back on the elevator, go down one level, take the underground walkway and elevator back up to the garage, but it's much easier to just walk across the street (2 or 3 lanes, there is a crosswalk).

Here's our strategy (but we don't have any little ones). I get the luggage and hubby goes to the rental car counter (unless we book from National--we're EA members). After he gets done, he pops back up and we take the bags to the car. It helps avoid the lines at the car rental counter when we do this. We like to use the EA was the rates are good, but that's not always the case, so we resort to Dollar sometimes too.
