MCO - Alamo or Enterprise to go to your car with no wait?

I have two reservations at MCO for a minivan. One with Alamo, $267, and one with Enterprise, $251. I know you can preregister and go directly to your car with Alamo, but I don't see that with Enterprise? (I can't decipher this from their website.) Does anyone know? I really don't want to waste time at the rental counter. Also, I know they both have the same types of vans, so that shouldn't make a difference, I would think.

Actually, I finally found that there was a kiosk with Enterprise, and I could put my license in, but I couldn't put my husband's license in.. And is the Enterprise Kiosk the same as Alamo?

Although they have kiosk that work the same way, you can not use Enterprise to rent an Alamo vehicle and visa versa. For your husband you can use the kiosk but when you are at the exit booth ask them to add your husband to the rental and give them his license. . But keep in mind there is a daily charge to have him on the rental unless you use a code that allows for an additional driver for free.

Enterprise is the parent company of Alamo and National but they handle reservations a little differently.

If it were me, I would go with the Alamo rental. You can do the online check-in before you leave home and add yourself, your additional driver and the credit card info that you will be using. Print this out and take it with you. When you arrive at the airport, collect your luggage and then proceed directly to the rental car garage. Pick a vehicle from the aisle that you reserved (minivan), load up and drive to the exit gate (keys are in the vehicle). When you get to the exit gate, present your paperwork, drivers licenses and credit card. The attendant will verify the info, scan the car out and hand you a receipt. You are on your way!
Well worth the extra $16 over the enterprise rental! ****now if we were talking $100, I'd probably go the other way since Enterprise/Alamo/National are basically the same company and share inventory.

It's been a few years since we used Enterprise and at that time they didn't have the online check-in option but they did have the Kiosk near the rental counter where you could check yourself in. When we did this, a vehicle was assigned to us by the system and we were directed to a numbered spot in the Enterprise area in the garage. We didn't like the vehicle so we went to the booth in the garage and they gave us several other options.
Please note that this info is 5 or 6 years old and they may have improved the experience since this time. If anyone has a more recent experience, please feel free to correct/update my info.
Overall NOT a horrible experience but if we had rented Alamo or National we would have been flying along the freeway in the warm Florida sun 20 minutes sooner.

Wow, 20 minutes, after a long plane flight, is valuable. Thank you all. And this is a Costco reservation so the second driver is free.

I just rented from Alamo at Shades of Green. You can easily walk there from the Polynesian or Grand Floridian. It is literally across the road from the Poly - one a paved path with a designated crosswalk. It was an easy .7 mile walk from the Grand Floridian Villas.
There was no wait. I had my car within minutes.
Super convenient
I highly recommend.

Also, be sure to re-check rates within the 2 week window. My rates dropped from $66/per day to $33/day (one way rental - drop off at FLL Airport)

I have waited in a line WAY longer than 20 minutes before. Once was an hour, and once was an hour and a half. I'll take a skip the counter option from Alamo every time now.

We booked our minivan through Alamo using the Costco code. I did the online check-in. Went over to the Alamo section, picked out a minivan and drove out. We showed our drivers license and credit card at the exit booth and we were on our way to Walt Disney world.
