ah i reported somone for sending me a message saying

are you a boy if so will you do me.

i lost my connection before i could get a response back and when i tried to log back on it said that i am banned for ignoring vmk values?
ban expires 9-13-2005. i know its not for long but i didnt do anything wrong?!?!?!

That sounds like something that will be reversed...and the harasser will be the one with the "forever" ban.

Because of the very strange bannings people have gotten, I think the VMK have a policy that if you say anything close to offensive, they will ban you immediately...and then check the chat logs. After that review, they may let you back in and still allow you to be a community leader in the future (if you so choose) or they will stick to their initial actions.

It doesn't hurt to send the VMK an e-mail about what happened.

Gosh...the VMK are weird! Sorry the massive banning bug hit you!!

Every time I hear about another player getting banned, I die a little inside and lean close to sending that nasty letter to VMK requesting to be removed from the game for fear of getting banned myself.
