McDonald's "Worldwide Favorites". Are these real?

After 8 days in China eating Chinese food for 3 meals a day, DD and I were thrilled to find a McDonald's in Shanghai! I didn't notice much difference in the menu but they did have different flavors of ice cream and they had bubble tea which my DD LOVED.
Back in the 80s I did that for almost 3 weeks. Finally saw a McDonald's in Hong Kong but we went out for something else even though the kids in the group desperately wanted McDonald's. We did end up asking if we could get the continental breakfast buffet at one of our hotels and we got free coupons. Breakfast was generally included at every tourist hotel, but the standard packages usually only included the Chinese breakfast. It was fine but we got tired of it after a couple of weeks.

I've tried the stroopwaffel McFlurry. Not sure if they just made up cheesy bacon fries or the Tomato and Mozzarella Crispy Chicken sandwich.

I don't have firsthand knowledge of these items. I have been to a McDonald's in Canada and don't remember that tomato in a chicken sandwich. The one thing I remember was the Kiwi Burger in New Zealand with red beets and a fried egg, but somehow that didn't make it to this promotion.

I can confirm the Tomato Mozzarella Chicken is real.

I live in Illinois, we used to have the chicken biscuit at breakfast time but that was years ago. I just checked the menu for here and we still do not have it. I wish we did. It was good. I like Chick fil A's too but there is no Chick fil A near where I work or on my way to work so I either grab something at home or occassionally stop off at McD's. I would love to be able to get a chicken biscuit there.
A few years ago, our McDonald's had a great chicken biscuit that was comparable to CFA. The current chicken biscuit at the McD's around here has a processed chicken patty. If all McD's have the same chicken on their biscuits, you're not missing anything. They're edible, but not comparable to the previous version.

In Hong Kong there was a seaweed seasoning that you could sprinkle on your fries. In China, I was greatly disappointed to get back to my hotel room and realize that I was given a container of corn instead of French fries with my meal.
