We we in Orlando 8/1-8/9 and I saw a couple different ladies wearing these sandals...they looked like they were walking on sandals with tennis shoe marshmallow bottoms!

I am always seeking the perfect park sandal, so I keep my eyes open when I am in Orlando to see if I spy anything I have not sought out.

I did google MBT sandals and found them. They make a mens version and two different ladies sandals.

I hate crocs, not because they are ugly, but because I can't get a good fit and I feel like I can feel the ground through them.

I currently have a pair of Nike Presto sandals which are the best, but I see myself having to replace since they discontinued them many years ago. I also own a pair of Mion sandals, and they are awesome comfortable too, but I just always have my eyes open for the most comfortable shoe.

Just looking for a testimonial on these shoes....if youv'e seen them, tried them on, own a pair....they look awesome, but I hae tried on hundreds of sandals in my search to replace my beloved Nikes.

I tried on MBT sneakers at the Walking Company, they felt good. I've seen a couple pr of sandals too, they look neat but I was never able to strike up a conversation and ask the wearers how they were. They are so pricey though. On the recommendation of the sales person at the Walking Company, I purchased ECCO sandals which are very comfortable and supportive even for long walks.
I'm also always on the lookout for the perfect shoe for Disney--as well as the perfect bag...

Have them, love them, can't say enough about them. There have been several posts about them if you can get the search function to work (too much to retype again!). Wore them today actually to work out in! They are going to Disney w/me this year!!

I also have the tennis shoes. I've worn them day in and out for 4 years now and they are still wonderful and (I've taken them in to ask) don't need to be replaced. They make me walk more erect and my hips/back/joints feel amazing--I can really tell a difference when I don't wear them (and I'm pretty young...).

Anyway, you'll not regret them. :yay:

I was in the same boat--I wanted to ask the ladies that were wearing them where they got them and how comfy they were, but both of them were not english speaking, so that did not work, which made me wonder if I would be able to find them.

I really found the sandals to be not too bad looking in person, unlike some sandals that you see out there, and some of them I own ;)

I'll have to see if I can order them from one of the show companies that has free shipping. They were pricey though.... I am still dying to hear input.

Thanks!

I have the MBT Sport White and the MBT Kisumu Sandal in Brown Leather. Got them (sandals) online at Footwear Etc. for $139, clearance due to it likely being last years style. It is a bit different brown/lighter in color than this years style. I love them and will likely not wear/purchase other shoes in the future because they are so comfortable and so amazing. Now I cannot vouch for their durability for walking all day in Disney World because I have not done that yet...but will next month when I am out there. I would not try wearing the sandals all day but I go for 1/2 days and take afternoon breaks with DGS so will wear them for 1/2 day and then switch to the MBT Sport Whites or possibly Crocs, depending on how well it all goes for comfort and not to mention the heat in September. Not sure if the Sport Whites will be too hot to wear there for extended period of time. They are heavier than a regular shoe but that will not deter you. However, I do wear them all day now. I go to park with DGS, walk, run, and climb on a day to day basis and I love them. I am practicing with the sandals as they are fairly new to me. I started out with the one pair of Sport White and love them so much that I hate to wear anything else. But I am breaking in the sandals. A word of caution, I had to go 1/2 size up in the White Sport and 1 whole size up (from a 6 to a 7) for the sandals to have the best fit. They do run small so be prepared or you will have to send them back and increase the size. I went to the Walking Company to purchase the Sport White and while there, I tried the sandals on to determine what size I would need for the clearance sandals I wanted to order. You mention that they look like the people are walking on marshmallows and that is a pretty good depiction of it. They are a physiological shoe and they force you, without you even knowing it, to stand more upright and you use underused muscles you do not typically use with a regular shoe. I felt a difference in my thigh and glute (rear-end) muscles right away. I took my time getting used to them but truly, I only needed a couple of days to get used to the way they fit and the way you walk in them. If you get them, you will love them I'm sure. Just plan to break them in a bit so your muscles can get accustomed to the additonal work out. Once you do this, there is no turning back. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned! Best of luck and have a Magical day.
