MAYbe we should go back to Disney World-A May 2012 PTR;6/7 Link to TR-Post#592; p. 40

Michelle, love the latest two flash back trips. It's amazing how different they look, yet again, how much they look the same. :goodvibes

When we got our pics with them they tried to pose each of us and um... I just wasn't getting it I guess. :rotfl2: She kept showing me and i kept trying the pose and she even tried to move my stiff arms but she just gave up:lmao:

 That's funny! You'll have to put that picture on your PTR, so I can see it in person!

Enjoying your ptr!!!!

Thanks! :)

Too bad. Our girls would have enjoyed this.

Nice view from your Wilderness Lodge room. :thumbsup2

Your girls would have LOVED this! :thumbsup2 The only yucky part was actually eating the cookies! We watched one kid wipe his nose and then go back to stirring the dough! :scared:  WHICH is exactly why we didn't eat the cookies!

Loved the Wilderness Lodge. I will stay there again when we return to a family of 4---guess I'll have to marry off one of my daughters first! ;)--IN NO HURRY!!

I don't know how I missed so many updates, but I'm all caught up now! Your ADR's look great, I'd love to try 'Ohana for breakfast, but it would be weird eating there without getting any bread pudding! :rotfl:

Love reading about your trip memories! I wish I had pictures from the trips my sister and I took when we were kids, but we only have a few, my family was always bad with storing pictures, and they all got lost! :sad1: On the trip you went the week after Thanksgiving, was it really empty back then? I remember when that was one of the best weeks to go, because it was so empty and now it seems to be one of the more popular weeks! :rotfl:

Glad you're caught up! :) 'Ohana is great for breakfast. My daughter Rachel loves the juice there as much as some folks love the bread pudding at dinner. I bet if you ask nicely, they'd give you some bread pudding at breakfast! ;)

That week after Thanksgiving was the best week! :thumbsup2 We walked on rides---I can remember choosing which seat I wanted in Splash Mt. I remember BTMR letting us keep our seats and ride through again! It was so nice. Not sure if that's still the case, or if people have "discovered" that week and increased the crowds.

I love your recaps of past trips. Shows how the changes that have been created/closed at the parks over the years, and it's interesting to see your kids grow and get older each trip. A nice way to capture those moments. :thumbsup2

Thanks! :) I enjoy looking back and seeing how the kids have changed over the years!

But I see that Kevin's red shirt memo got lost in the mail. And it's not like he didn't have a red shirt, I saw him unwrapping one in the previous pictures!

:rotfl: You are SO RIGHT! Men! Funny that he didn't wear red for this night. But, in 2009, when our trip overlapped with Gay Days, guess who wore red to Magic Kingdom that day? Yes, Kevin.

Michelle, love the latest two flash back trips. It's amazing how different they look, yet again, how much they look the same. :goodvibes

Thanks, Kathy! :) The girls have definitely changed over the years, but you're right-they still look the same in a lot of ways! :goodvibes

Love the pictures from your November trip. I love Disney when it is all dressed up for Christmas; it seems like a different place altogether!!

I do too, Dana! That was our first time to see Disney all decked out for the holidays, and I just fell in love. Everything is so perfect--each park, the resorts--all of it! :goodvibes

I often tell people that if they love Disney, they have to see it during the holidays, at least once in their lifetime!

Looking at your old pictures, reminded me I miss Tarzan. Nemo is fun and cute, but there is just something about Tarzan that I miss. :goodvibes

We only saw Tarzan that one time in the park, so I can't say I was too attached to the show.

I feel quite differently about Nemo---love it! :goodvibes

Great stuff! Maybe we will run into each other since we will be down at the same time!

Will

I have missed so many updates! But awww to those pics from previous trips... they reminded me of my previous trips (though I'm much older than your daughters ha ha) But there is something so sweet about looking back at Disney pictures!

Also I never knew about this amazing deal they used to have when you stayed at a Disney resort! That was great... who do we have to talk to get that back?!?:rotfl: I have said many times that the park hopper should be included when you stay on site!

Hi Michelle! Followed you over from my PTR-hope you don't mind another reader. I have to catch up, but I DID happen to see your resort. I have to admit I was a little confused at first because I saw your Poly ticker and your post about the Beach Club but then saw the one about the resort change. SOOOO jealous you are going to be staying at the Polynesian! :goodvibes Even though I've loved staying at all the DVC resorts, the Poly will always be my favorite. It is amazing. :cloud9:

I know....it was great! :) If you figure out who we should talk to, let me know! ;)

Hi Sarah! Glad you have come over to read. Not sure if you remember, but I followed you on your PTRs and TRs a few years ago (and you followed some of mine!)---Then I just fell off the face of the DIS! But now I'm back!

I have enjoyed the BC/YC area when we've stayed over there, but the Poly is my first love! :cloud9: So happy and blessed that we're going to stay there again!

Tarzan was the first movie we ever took Chelsea to see in a movie theater, so I wish we would have had a chance to see Tarzan Rocks at AK. It looks like it was a fun show!

Awwww! Tarzan's a cute one for the first movie. :)

I remember Elizabeth's first movie at a theater was The Hunchback of Notre Dame. She kept asking when it was going to be finished!

Chelsea was entranced, and I kept tearing up during the entire movie. Connor's first movie was The Attack of the Clones in the SW series. I didn't cry during that one.

Do you know, I don't think I have ever watched The Hunchback in Notre Dame all the way through?

LOVED reading about your holiday trip. One of my first trips to the World was Thanksgiving week -- such a great time of year to visit. I can't wait to one day take my family around Christmas and stay at the Wilderness Lodge. It just seems like the perfect place to stay for Christmas.

I have to admit that haven't missed much. Just think---no mention of any of those characters anywhere in the parks. That should tell you how interesting even Disney finds them!

I love seeing Disney all decorated for Christmas, and Wilderness Lodge, I believe, is the perfect resort for the season! :)

I'm all caught up with the last few posts.

The Ultimate pass they used to have sounds awesome.:thumbsup2 Those days are long gone:sad2:

Who is that Doug character you have a picture with in AK?

That cooking class the girls took looks so cute. I love the pictures with the chef hats.

Wanted to stop by and and say "Hi". The days are ticking by and we are getting closer and closer to seeing that awesome Mouse again :cool1:.
