Maybe this is a dumb question, but after placing a hold, how do I find it again???

Okay, every few days I go to the airline websites and check prices for the flights I want for June. Today I see that the USAir flights I want have dropped $60 per ticket. Great, except I do want to discuss with hubby before putting them on his credit card, so I selected the 'hold' option. The site says I can hold these tickets for 24 hrs. How do I retrieve this information later tonite or in the morning to purchase? I checked under reservations, but it says I don't have any existing reservations. Now I'm panicked that I won't be able to get back there to purchase before they expire. Please help

try calling USAir and see if they have that 'hold' in their system. Maybe they can retrieve it?!

As a Travel Agent, I found this thread very interesting. I tried out the USAIR website.

Did you create a profile and password? It is required to hold.

They also require a credit card to "Hold" the reservation. The HOLD transaction
will not complete without the credit card information.

If you did not create the profile nor give a credit card, then they did not hold
your reservation.

I've never used the hold option on USAir, but from what I've heard it only holds your seats, not your fare. So if the fare goes up before you reaccess it and buy, you will get the higher fare. When I've booked over the phone with USAir, they usually say that you can cancel within 24 hours and get a refund. I'm not sure if that applies to web tickets, but if it does you would be better off buying it and then trying to cancel if not OK. You should call them to discuss.
