We have half price Virgin vouchers from a 23 hour delay last year.... and maybe.... just maybe.... we'll be going again in October.

Found some possible flights, will book villa and car hire separately *IF* we decide to go.

The original plan was for Europe, but there's no way we'll find a villa for 8-11 (party expanding hourly ) at the sort of prices we can get in Florida... and we have these vouchers..... and the exchange rate is so good..... how could we not try to book those flights?!

If I'm looking for discouragement on the grounds of having spent too much last year and ought to be paying more attention to studying/working/DIY/cultural enlightenment I know I'm in the wrong place, but hey!

Errr...... sorry, but actually I can't see anything wrong with your 'plan'.

It all sounds perfectly sensible, and it would probably be terribly rude not to use those vouchers, wouldn't it?

Yes, but you can do all of those so much better when you've got a great holiday lined up
