This past weekend, we went to the Dolphin Mall in Miami for the first time. There's a store called "Disney's Character Warehouse" there. They told me there is one at Sawgrass Mills, but I am unsure if there are more in other parts of Florida or elsewhere.
But, here's what's there. All of their merchandise comes from WDW. They have clothes, toys, souvenirs, pins, etc. But, it's all CHEAP! Kids T-shirts for $4.00, adults for $8 - $10, pins for $3 - $4. Dated souvenirs (such as 2003 and 100 Years of magic stuff) for 25% of the original price or even less.
What we purchased: A 100 Years of Magic and a 2003 photo frame, $5 each. 3 grab bags of 10 pins a bag (which yielded 22 unique pins and 8 traders) for $10 each - that's right, $1 per pin. Three of the interactive Magical Moments pins from the 100 Years celebration for $0.99 each (remember, they cost $16 at the parks.) I'll probably not take them out of the package. A splash mountain shirt for our daughter $4.00. A couple of Small World dolls for $2.00 each.
Figured I'd post this in case there were any others out there as clueless as I was about this place. We're heading back at the end of June for a pin trading session for our daughter. We'll probably buy much more stuff then.
