Maybe childish but a big deal to me

The falling chairs thing has been going around in a lot of rooms, but I never won a game before...until right now. And instead of the magic I was promised, she BOOTED me. Isn't that wrong on some level? I'm really upset.

Probably wrong on all levels but other then reporting there is little you can do. It is a sad part of VMK, is to see how kids are learning to act in the game and society in general. They get away with whatever they want for whatever the reason they wanted. Sorry this happened to you.

I think that is way to not nice. I had won a typing game. And I said I wanted the Haunted Mansion Candle. So we went into a trade and I said "Because you were so nice enough to give this to me I will let you have this Gray Crate. She took away her item and closed the trade and booted me." Is that not nice or what. Well people just don't really know how cool it is to win. Sometimes they'll boot people they didn't really want to boot. I have done it alot of times. So don't worry about it. It won't probably happen again.

That's why I don't trust any room with "pay to play" or "pay to stay" as far
as I could drop-kick these nasty kids. They often end in stories like yours,
where the owner will boot everyone out instead of honoring the prizes they
are supposed to.

I had a LOT of kids asking me to pay me to stay in my game room. I
adamantly refused, saying that my game was free for all to play, and
everyone was welcome come back to the entrance to play as many times
as they wished.

So now you'll know to avoid these rooms in the future, but report the
owner to the Contact Us link on the bottom of the VMK home page to have
VMK investigate the unfair practices this player is exhibiting.

I was thinking it must have been pay to play. I never allow my daughter to do those games and never would myself. I understand they are putting up the prizes and the time but most of these border on scams as you experienced. She could not have had enough magic to give to all winners so she sure was not going to give it for a crate.
