May the 4th?

We are WDW vets heading to Disneyland for Dapper Day! We are supposed to fly out on the morning of May 4th. But my husband kindly reminded me that it was MAY THE 4TH, and we should possibly stay another day for Star Wars activities. I know WDW has 'May the 4th be with you' events. Does Disneyland do anything special?

Last year the only "special" editions were a photo backdrop (they had toy lightsabers you could borrow) and a couple of stormtroopers were out walking around a little more than usual. There is already a pretty large Star Wars presence in TL because Star Tours, Star Traders and Jedi Training Academy are so close and they sell popcorn bucks and souvenir drink cups when available too. There were also shirts and pins available, but after an initial rush in the morning people weren't that interested. In the afternoon it got really, really crowded in TL with people coming to ride Star Tours. DL also does some Cinco de Mayo stuff at the same time, which draws crowds, but not necessarily to TL. This year Launch Bay will be open too, but we don't really know yet if anything else from Season of the Force will stick around. If you have an afternoon flight you could easily knock out everything in TL in a few hours.
